Sharing the love!

We recently received this letter from a happy bride.  Just wanted to “share the love’!

Thank you all for a wonderful evening last night.  Scott and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the way things turned out.  Everything went smoothly and your staff was great to work with.  I will definitely recommend Vista Hills venue to other bride and groom’s to-be.

Thanks again for a great time!

Maria and Scott”

Ceremony in Mexico!

We just love destination weddings ;)   Especially when the photos turn out like Molly and Nic’s did.  They are having their reception at Vista Hills in mid September and Powers Studios ( who shot their ceremony in Mexico and will shoot their reception here at Vista) just posted their amazing photos!  Gorgeous wedding guys!

Megan and Mark 6.9.2012

We just love intimate weddings at Vista Hills.  Megan and Mark chose to celebrate with about 45 guests and really incorporated pops of color in all of their decor.  The below images are courtesy of the “iphone” so you can see how things were set up!

Shout out to all the vendors who helped with this wedding: No Ordinary Affair, Pro DJ’s Oregon, Phresh Organics Catering, The Sweetest Thing Cupcakes & Poseyland Florals.  Thank you for a beautiful event!

Wedding Readings from Literature

Check out this blog we found of beautiful wedding readings from Literature!

Here’s one of our favorite picks:

*Sonnet 17

I don’t love you as if you were the salt-rose, topaz or arrow of carnations that propagate fire: I love you as certain dark things are loved, secretly, between the shadow and the soul. I love you as the plant that doesn’t bloom, and carries hidden within itself the light of those flowers, and thanks to your love, darkly in my body lives the dense fragrance that rises from the earth. I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where, I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I know no other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you; so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep it is your eyes that close.

First wedding of 2012!

We have just loved planning with Josh and Jessica, our 5.25.2012 couple.  No one was really sure how the weather was going to turn out but it was spectacular!  With help from Your Perfect Bridesmaid, Premiere Catering and Bella Bloom Florals their wedding came together beautifully!  Here are some set up images, including a clear top tent over the deck from Key Event Rentals.

Their cake was made to look like old books! Thanks to White Rose Bakery!

Centerpieces were the couples favorite old books with coffee beans as a base layer…It smelled incredible!  Handmade bookmarks were displayed for each guest to take home as a favor.
